Research and Methodology

Grounded in Global Standards and Clinical Expertise

Our framework has been developed using validated research and recognized global standards for psychological health & safety. Our work reflects the best available evidence, translated into practical tools that help organizations measure, understand, and strengthen workplace well-being.

Some of these international standards include ISO 45003:2021 – Psychological Health and Safety at Work, the National Standard of Canada for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace, and WorkSafeBC.

Our methodology, used in both our assessments and support tools, integrates academic research and established best practices into a practical, measurable framework for organizations. Each component of Q2 Workplace Wellness’ model is grounded in research-validated factors that consistently appear across leading workplace health and safety standards.

Our foundations also include deep expertise in mental health. Q2 Workplace Wellness’ founder is a Registered Clinical Counsellor, and our approach to employee well-being is grounded in validated therapeutic principles and psychological assessment tools.

The result is a framework that reflects the collective strength of international research, while remaining tailored to the unique needs of Canadian organizations. Together, these foundations ensure that every recommendation aligns with scientific integrity, regulatory compliance, and practical impact.

Grounded in research. Guided by global standards.
